We love the Durant olive oils. The fact that they have such a varied flavor is great. I like the peppery ones, Tuscan I think? Plus, their gift shop is a superb stop in the Dundee Valley.

Thinking of fresh corn on the cob made my mouth water. It is barely available in France, and when it is, it's peeled, pre-cut, and looks awful. I've never tried it.

Ohmygosh, Betty. Given France’s dedication to the highest quality ingredients, I’m shocked, though… corn is a truly American foodstuff.
