David Lebovitz's Newsletter, with 200,000 followers, has several of the features of how I like to write. Newsy, sincere, self-effacing, humorous and candid… bordering on irreverent. David had the great good fortune (aka, courage) to move to Paris some years after scoring a plum pastry job at renowned Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California. Off he went. He's chronicled his entire life in France ever since.
